Job Summary
Assist in managing project budgets and contracts by preparing cost budgets, tracking design and construction changes, certifying progress work, and administering contract variations to ensure accurate financial control and timely payments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare cost budgets and adjust budget projections by tracking changes in design and construction work
- Review and prepare agreements for awarding contracts to subcontractors and suppliers
- Certify and evaluate progress work completed, managing contract administration for variations in subcontract and main contracts
- Assess and submit monthly progress claims and recommend monthly progress payments for subcontractors
- Finalise final accounts for subcontract and main contracts
- Apply knowledge of contract and quantity surveying procedures and pricing to support project financial management
- Conduct procurement, budgeting, estimation, contract administration, measurement of quantities, and management of variation orders
- Compile photos, inspection forms, and all relevant documentation required for variation order attachments
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other related documentation
- Communicate and negotiate effectively with stakeholders to facilitate contract and project processes
- Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior
