Job Summary
Report to the Tenders & Contracts Manager to prepare tender submissions, manage progress claims and payments, and coordinate with subcontractors and consultants to ensure compliance and certification of project claims.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit tender documents accurately to support project acquisition
- Manage progress claims, payments, variation orders (VO), and project finalization to ensure timely financial closure
- Invite and compile quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, verifying compliance with tender specifications and drawings
- Analyze and interpret tender specifications and drawings to ensure accurate submission and compliance
- Liaise and build effective working relationships with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate certification of payment claims
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or Degree in Building, Quantity Surveying, Contracts Management/Administration, or a relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant construction industry experience
