Quantity Surveyor Job Responsibilities:
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) for projects.
- Assist in preparation of tender documents and procurement processes.
- Support Senior Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager in cost submissions, budgeting, and contracts documentation.
- Liaise with colleagues and other departments to obtain necessary information for cost estimation.
- Assist in preparing supplier and subcontractor payment requests.
- Attend site meetings as required.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and compile tender documents for procurement and quotations.
- Perform quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings using PDF and/or AutoCAD.
- Conduct cost analysis, budgeting, and preparation of variation orders under guidance of Deputy/ Contracts Manager.
- Liaise with other departments to collect information required for cost submission and procurement.
- Assist in reviewing payment requests and ensuring compliance with SOPs.
- Attend site meetings for coordination of quantities and costs.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDF software for quantity take-off and measurements.
- 2 to 7 years of experience in a procurement-related role or construction background preferred.
- Strong experience in contracts management, claims, and cost control.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
