Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking to join a dynamic construction company Right Construction Pte Ltd, an established player in the construction industry, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its team. This full-time position will see you playing a vital role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring cost-effective and successful project delivery.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
2. Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the construction process.
3. Negotiating and finalising contract terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
4. Analysing and interpreting contract documents, drawings and specifications.
5. Preparing progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
6. Providing commercial and contractual advice to project managers and site teams.
7. Identifying potential cost savings and value engineering opportunities.
8. Maintaining comprehensive project cost records and documentation.

What we're looking for

1. Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
2. Minimum 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
3. Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management and project controls.
4. Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders.
7. Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
