We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage project costs, prepare estimates, and ensure that construction works are completed within budget. The candidate will be responsible for cost planning, contract administration, valuation, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects
Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate quantity take-offs
Evaluate quotations and negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors
Monitor project costs and ensure expenditures remain within approved budgets
Prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
Conduct site measurements and valuation of works completed
Review contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions
Assist in procurement and selection of materials and subcontractors
Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide financial advice to management
Prepare regular cost reports and maintain proper project documentation
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams on cost-related matters
Support project planning and ensure smooth financial control throughout the construction process
