Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full tendering process, including pre-qualification, commercial and technical submissions.
- Develop and standardize tender procedures, pricing formats, schedules of rates, and technical data.
- Review cost estimates, conduct risk assessments, price analysis, and value engineering to ensure competitive tenders.
- Coordinate and chair tender meetings, prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations to management.
- Attend tender interviews, site show rounds, and negotiate with clients until contract award.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, QS, and project teams to review design briefs and tender specifications.
- Prepare tender budgets upon award and conduct project handover and kick-off meetings.
- Manage tender queries and ensure timely preparation and submission of clarifications.
- Monitor market trends, upcoming tenders, and benchmarking data.
- Conduct post-tender and post-contract reviews for continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff on tendering, cost control, and contract administration.
- Maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or Building Services 5-8 years of relevant experience in ACMV / M&E contracting (with managerial exposure preferred)
- Strong knowledge of ACMV systems (chiller, AHU, FCU, VRV/VRF) and mechanical works costing
