Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain print processing applications using technologies such as VB.NET, C#, Java, or print composition tools (e.g., PrintSoft, Quadient Inspire)
- Design and implement data transformation workflows, including parsing and converting data across formats such as XML, CSV, JSON, AFP, PDF, and TXT
- Create and enhance dynamic print templates for documents such as bills, statements, notices, and labels
- Automate print production processes, including imposition, barcoding, sorting, and output distribution
- Collaborate closely with client services and prepress teams to understand requirements and ensure accurate output delivery
- Perform testing, debugging, and quality assurance for both new and existing print solutions
- Ensure all deliverables meet SLA requirements, data security standards, and formatting guidelines
- Maintain proper documentation, version control, and development logs
- Provide technical support for production issues and work with operations teams to resolve them efficiently
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in C# and .NET (Core or Framework)
- Experience with print composition tools such as PrintSoft (PReS), Quadient Inspire, or OpenText Exstream
- Familiarity with print file formats including PDF, AFP, PCL, and PostScript
- Strong understanding of data structures and formats such as CSV, XML, and JSON
- Experience with PDF libraries or APIs (e.g., iText) for document generation and manipulation
- Proven ability to analyse large datasets and troubleshoot data-related issues
