Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Cost Estimation - Prepare cost estimates, budgets and Bills of Quantities (BQ).

2. Quantity Measurement - Carry out quantity take-off and verify construction work.

3. Tender & Procurement - Prepare tender documents, evaluate quotations and negotiate prices.

4. Cost Control - Monitor project expenditure and prevent cost overruns.

5. Progress Claims - Prepare, check and certify progress payments.

6. Variation Orders (VO) - Evaluate and assess additional or omitted works.

7. Contract Administration - Manage contractual matters, EOT and claims.

8. Final Account - Prepare, negotiate and finalise project accounts.

9. Cost Reporting - Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.

10. Coordination - Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.

Main Objective

To ensure the project is completed within budget, with proper cost control, accurate measurements and effective contract management.
