Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects.
Track changes to designs and adjust budget projections accordingly.
Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Handle contract claims and variations.
Monitor project costs and report on financial progress.
Provide advice on cost control and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and present detailed cost reports and forecasts.
Work closely with engineers, contractors, and clients.
Attend project meetings and provide input on cost implications and strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Electrical knowledge and understanding of technical terms are an advantage.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a similar role.
Strong understanding of calculation methods and cost planning in a similar industry.
Proficient in MS Excel and SAP.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
