Job Description:
- Prepare detailed tender costings by analyzing bills of quantities, tender documents, and drawings to estimate material and labor requirements accurately
- Evaluate and negotiate tenders from sub-contractors and suppliers to secure optimal terms and pricing
- Collaborate with project teams to align project execution with client requirements and expectations
- Control and monitor project costs throughout all stages to ensure adherence to predetermined budgets and expenditures
- Perform monthly valuations of work in progress and forecast final project costs to support financial planning
- Conduct thorough commercial vetting of sub-contractor tenders and contracts to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
- Certify sub-contractor monthly valuations and finalize accounts to maintain accurate financial records
- Monitor and manage all commercial information related to labor, materials, and sub-contractor costs to enforce strict budget discipline
- Provide timely and accurate commercial information to Managers and Directors for periodic project reviews
- Execute any ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors to support project and organizational objectives
Requirement:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the electrical construction industry
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
