Quantity Surveyor

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze tender documents, drawings and specifications
• Conduct quantity take off and estimate costs
• Coordinate with suppliers and sub-contractors to prepare costing for tender submission
• Prepare tender and supporting documents for submission
• Follow up on any technical clarifications during post-tender stage
• Attend site show rounds and tender interviews
• Prepare sub-contractor agreement, work order and VO
• Monitor project progress and control budget
• Collaborate with Project Team to track work progress for claim submission to Main Contractor
• Assess sub-contractor's monthly claims and prepare payment certificate/response

Job Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Building / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-4 years experience in Construction, preferably in handling projects for building construction industry.
• Knowledgeable of Singapore Standard local codes and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while being a good team player.
• Strong follow up and closure skills
