Quantity Surveyor - 5 days work

Job Scope

• Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects

• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors

• Quantify and value construction work, and process payment applications

• Identify and resolve cost-related issues, and recommend solutions to clients

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project objectives are met

• Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

• Provide advice and support to the wider team on quantity surveying matters

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

• Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry

• Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders

• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and spreadsheet applications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
