Quality Technician

Job Summary

Responsible to ensure robust quality control throughout themajor overhaul production process. This includes monitoring and reportingquality status, identifying and resolving quality issues, developing short andlongterm corrective actions, tracking product quality, and maintainingcomprehensive quality records. The role also supports internal and externalquality system audits.

Responsibilities

. Develop and maintain quality process cards, ensuring accuracy andauthenticity. Clearly differentiate between qualified and unqualified products,and prepare appropriate quality labels for various product conditions.

. Execute process and outgoing quality control in accordance with thecompany's quality system requirements, with a focus on improving the firstpassyield of products going offline.

. Perform fullmachine quality inspections prior to factory release,including taking required photographs. Ensure all photos and work orders areproperly documented and stored in SharePoint.

. Use standard quality inspection tools proficiently, such as oildipsticks, micrometers, and other measurement instruments.

. Track, record, and analyze quality data using Excel, providing insightsto support continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

. NITECor Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

. At least 5 years ofpractical experience in quality control within machinery manufacturingenvironments.

. 5-10years of experience in mechanical processing or field equipment servicing

. Ability to read andinterpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

. Proficiency in usingquality inspection tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, oil dipsticks).

. StrongMS Excel skills for data tracking and analysis.

. Experiencein screw compressors or heavy mechanical equipment is advantageous.

. Validelectrician's certificate and/or forklift license is a plus.
