About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team. This full-time position is based in Serangoon North, North-East Region and will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our medical device components.
What you'll be doing
Quality Management System
Prepare and maintain qualityrelated documentation, such as Certificates of Analysis (CoA), inspection reports, quality records and traceability records
Ensure all documentation complies with ISO 13485, internal quality procedures, and customer requirements
Support internal and external audits by preparing records, demonstrating processes, and providing inspection or testing data when requested
Maintain a clean, safe, and audit-ready quality control environment always
Quality Operation & Lab Testing
Perform routine QC laboratory tests based on product control plan
Conduct incoming, inprocess, and outgoing inspections using approved sampling plans, test methods, and inspection criteria
Maintain accurate and timely completion of inspection and quality records
Equipment Calibration & Measurement System
Perform routine calibration and verification of measurement equipment/ tools
Maintain calibration records and ensure equipment/ tools remains in compliant state
Identify and report equipment malfunction or deviations in a timely manner, and coordinate the necessary actions to restore the equipment to a compliant operating condition
Continuous Improvement Activities
Participate in inhouse continuous improvement activities by providing quality-related input to enhance product quality and process performance
Identify opportunities to reduce defects, improve inspection processes, and enhancing QMS compliance
Support the implementation of lean initiatives, including 5S activities and waste reduction projects
.Nonconformance and failure investigation support
Support in failure investigations, including collecting evidence, performing re-tests, and supporting root cause analysis
Document nonconformances, participate in containment activities, and support CAPA implementation where required
. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Sustainability
o Ensure QA activities comply with all applicable EHS regulations, standards, and company policies
. Act as a key backup for critical QA functions, ensuring seamless quality operations and mitigating risks associated with limited team size.

What we're looking for
Higher Nitec & above in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality control or technical role, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry
Basic understanding of metallic materials and precision engineering process
Basic understanding of ISO 13485 and MSA
Competent with Microsoft Office tools.
Knowledge in inspection, measurement system, and document control
