Key Responsibilities

  • Review Associated Part Processing Method (APPM) and Job Instruction Sheets (JIS) to ensure compliance with engineering print requirements using Unigraphics NX 12.
  • Review tolerance charts and ensure final component requirements are achieved after stock removal.
  • Review and validate inspection plans, inspection gauges, inspection equipment, and inspection methods.
  • Prepare and review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports with ballooned engineering prints in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
  • Design gauges to meet process and inspection requirements.
  • Support and assist in ordering new gauges and inspection equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation including FMEA, Control Plans, and Process Flow Charts.
  • Prepare PPAP documentation as per customer and aerospace quality requirements.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and ensure continuous improvement

Work Experience

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or related discipline).
  • At least 5 years of experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of Unigraphics NX 12 for print review and analysis.
  • Good understanding of tolerance analysis and manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection planning, gauges, and measurement techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9102 FAI requirements and documentation.
  • Experience in preparation of FMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow Chart, and PPAP.
  • Awareness of aerospace quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
