Job Description

Accesstech is a rapidly expanding group of companies with interest in Engineering Construction, Telecommunications and Investments.

Founded in 1998 in Singapore with our principal business in high-tech factory engineering, we have since extended our expertise into commercial projects with luxury hotels and commercial properties.

The Project team is currently looking for a suitable candidate to join us as a Project Engineers (Mechanical) to drive the ongoing and new projects in the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans
  • Assess the systems and controls that organisation has put in place
  • Provide methods to carry out quality assurance and quality control procedures
  • Plan for inspections at different phases of the project
  • Propose continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality management system
  • Draft inspection checklists
  • Conduct inspections to ensure that materials used comply with relevant quality assurance requirements and regulatory guidelines
  • Conduct site surveillance to adhere to quality control procedures
  • Evaluate if corrective actions taken are accurate and implemented effectively
  • Apply organisational environmental sustainability and green building standards and guidelines during inspections
  • Plan preventative maintenance.
  • Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions.
  • Maintaining quality and safety standards are upheld.
  • Site preparation and co-ordination, preparation of submission documents.
  • Coordinate, liaise and manage various project stakeholders including customers, consultants, sub-contractors, vendors, etc. on site to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Able to communicate effective to all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and create detail work schedule, manpower and resource planning.
  • Coordinate the safety management system on site.
  • Follow up and reporting on the project progress.
  • Able to understand Singapore standards or Code of Practice.
  • All other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by reporting manager.
  • Work location: Loyang, Joo Koon, Woodlands

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant Qualification in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • For experience candidates, preferably to possess minimum 2 years relevant experience in the Construction Industrial Engineering industry.
  • Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of civil, structural, architectural or mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines, codes, and regulations
  • Ability to interact effectively with project members and managers at all levels.
