Key Responsibilties
1. Product Qualification & Validation
- Plan, execute, and monitor product qualification tests in accordance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and industry standards.
- Set up and operate test equipment, measurement tools, and fixtures for qualification trials.
- Verify dimensional, functional, and performance characteristics against specifications.
2. Trial Management
- Support production trials and process validation runs.
- Monitor trial progress, collect process/product data, and identify deviations or defects.
- Work with engineering and production to resolve issues identified during trials.
- Ensure trial samples are properly identified, stored, and traceable.
3. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare detailed qualification and trial reports, including test results, data analysis, and observations.
- Maintain accurate records for compliance, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Support creation or revision of quality-related documentation, including inspection plans, checklists, and SOPs.
4. Continuous Improvement
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities related to trial failures.
- Recommend process or inspection improvements based on trial results..
Preferred Skills
- Prefererably able to speak, write and understand simple English
- Basic computer knowledge such as EXCEL
- Basic knowledge on the use of measuring instruments e.g. Caliper, Dial gauge.
- Must be able to carry 15kg of batteries
- Must not be colour blind
