Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Singapore

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality management system, ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality. You will lead a team of quality professionals and work closely with cross-functional departments to implement quality control processes, improve operational efficiency, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Quality Assurance Team: Manage and mentor a team of quality professionals, ensuring they are aligned with company goals and are equipped with the skills to deliver high-quality results.
  • Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Processes: Design, implement, and continuously improve quality control processes and policies to ensure product consistency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct Audits and Inspections: Perform regular quality audits, inspections, and testing of products, processes, and systems to identify quality issues and non-conformities.
  • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions: Identify the root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate defects and reduce process inefficiencies.
  • Maintain Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products and operations comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP).
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as production, R&D, and logistics, to improve product designs, manufacturing processes, and service delivery.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to staff on quality standards, best practices, and new technologies.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Address customer complaints and feedback related to product quality and work with teams to implement improvements.
  • Report on Quality Metrics: Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards on key quality metrics, such as defect rates, production downtime, and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement initiatives for continuous process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to optimize product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Monitor and assess the performance of suppliers to ensure that they meet quality standards and resolve any supplier-related quality issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a proven track record of managing quality control processes in a manufacturing or service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP).
  • Experience with auditing and compliance in regulated environments.
  • Proficient in using quality management tools and software (e.g., Minitab, Six Sigma, SAP).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to perform data-driven analysis and implement solutions.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of product quality.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required; additional language skills are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) or Lean Management.
  • Experience in a leadership role within a quality management environment.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory audits and compliance in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, or electronics.
