Key Responsibilities:
Quality Testing and Validation:
- Formulate a test plan and thoroughly test products and components to ensure they meet predefined quality standards.
- Develop and implement testing protocols and procedures for various stages of product development.
- Utilize both manual and automated testing techniques.
Issue Identification and Resolution:
- Identify any defects or inconsistencies in products or processes.
- Collaborate with the product development team to understand product requirements and ensure quality considerations are integrated through out.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations for resolving quality issues.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
- Analyse data and feedback to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
- Recommend modifications in products or processes based on findings and industry best practices.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, methodologies, and results.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality assurance activities, findings, and project progress.
- Ensure all documentation is compliant with industry standards and company policies.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with other engineering teams, including design, production, and software development, to integrate quality assurance into all phases of the product development lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders regarding quality metrics, objectives, and outcomes.
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on quality assurance activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role, preferably in robotics, automation, or vehicle engineering.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards.
- Experience with statistical analysis and quality testing tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions to quality-related issues.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards is a plus.
