Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The role involves working closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to identify issues early, improve processes, and maintain high standards across all software releases.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze product requirements to identify potential quality risks
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios (manual and automated)
- Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing on Web, Mobile, and API systems
- Log, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues
- Prepare clear and structured test documentation and reports
- Participate in the design, maintenance, and improvement of automation testing frameworks (if applicable)
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Ensure products meet defined quality standards and best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 25 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications
- Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Experience in FinTech, e-commerce, SaaS, or large-scale systems
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification
