Position Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing both manual and automated tests to ensure our software products meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the development team to drive continuous quality improvement and identify and resolve issues before release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual and automated test plans to ensure product functionality, performance, and security meet requirements.
- Write detailed test cases based on product specifications, execute tests, and document results.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to ensure quality goals are achieved.
- Identify and report software defects, track their resolution.
- Use automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, Postman) to perform regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Provide recommendations for improvements based on project progress and customer feedback.
- Produce detailed reports and analysis on software quality, assisting decision-making on key areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on new testing technologies and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance, particularly in software testing and automation.
- Proficient in manual testing and automation testing techniques, familiar with popular testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium).
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to independently analyze and diagnose issues.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiar with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Programming skills (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) are a plus.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with automation testing on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and related tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
