Job Description

Green Coffee Quality

Assist in evaluating and grading green coffee beans for defects, moisture, density, and overall quality
Maintain records of supplier samples and quality results for traceability

Roasted Coffee & Sensory Evaluation

Conduct regular cupping sessions with the QC team to assess flavor, aroma, body, and overall profile of coffee
Monitor roasting consistency to ensure adherence to roast profiles and quality standards
Support troubleshooting of inconsistencies in roasting or flavor profiles

Data & Reporting

Record and analyze quality control data for both green and roasted coffee
Prepare quality reports and highlight any deviations or concerns to the Head of Coffee
Support data-driven decision-making for product and process improvements

Quality Assurance & Storage

Assist in ensuring proper storage conditions for green and roasted coffee to preserve freshness and quality
Report quality issues, non-conformances, or supplier inconsistencies promptly
Support the implementation of quality improvement processes across the supply chain
