Job Description
- Prepares the project quality plans and inspection test plans according to project specifications
- Prepares welding procedure specification and conduct welder qualification tests
- Prepares quality control procedures and repairs procedures for welding
- Conducts stage wise inspections like material/fit up/visual/bolt tightening/painting for fabrication and erection works
- Review and witness the non-destructive testing like ultrasonic testing and magnetic particle testing
- To ensure internal quality controls are in place and being maintained properly
- Work closely with other project personnel such as production and site management team in order to deliver high quality works together
- Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures delivered to the yard
- Proper QA/QC documentation for all materials delivered to the factory, including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instructions/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC document
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
