QAQC Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with method statements and quality guidelines. Monitor subcontractor work across various trades, ensuring proper identification and rectification of defects. Create and implement effective QA/QC plans to maintain consistent quality throughout the project. Prepare accurate QA/QC reports and assist with quality management submissions. Execute quality control based on site-specific materials and the Project Quality Plan (PQP). Issue and manage Site Memos to communicate non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive measures. Oversee the implementation of corrective actions related to identified non-conformities. Liaise with external bodies such as BCA for CONQUAS assessments. Verify method statement compliance with necessary approvals prior to implementation. Follow up on testing requirements as per contract specifications and Inspection Test Plan (ITP). Attend site meetings focused on QA/QC, landscape coordination, and client discussions, contributing actively. Conduct inspections at precast and structural steel works facilities. Facilitate smooth handover processes during inspections and address client defects during the Defect Liability Period.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 3 years of QA/QC experience in the construction sector, with specific experience in alteration and addition (A&A) works. Strong understanding of quality control processes and industry standards. Proven ability to manage quality assurance tasks effectively and efficiently. Excellent communication and coordination skills for liaising with various stakeholders.
