Senior/QAQC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QAQC Engineer to join our QAQC Team. This role focuses on ensuring quality compliance across construction activities, coordinating inspections and audits, managing quality documentation, and monitoring the implementation of project quality plans, specifications, and standards to support the successful and compliant delivery of projects.

Job Descriptions:

• Review and understand project specifications, general requirements, and construction drawings to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Report directly to the Project Manager and QMR on all QAQC activities.

• Assist the QMR in updating summaries of all documents, drawings, letters, forms, and submissions.

• Support the QMR in closing out reports for all audit-related documents, including ISO, safety, CONQUAS, cross-project, client, and site audits.

• Assist the QMR in preparing quality documents, including PQP, ITPs, checklists, testing, mock-ups, and material submissions.

• Ensure that quality control activities are conducted efficiently and economically, in liaison with the Operations and Design Teams and other project personnel responsible for quality control activities.

• Monitor, track, and coordinate the closure of all NCRs and NCNs.

• Ensure that project quality aligns with the company's and project's quality plans, highlighting areas of concern to the QMR and Project Manager to maintain high-quality standards.

• Assist in ensuring compliance with the project document management system, including hard-copy and electronic filing, as well as document management on the server.

• Assist the QMR in the distribution and submission of documents and drawings to clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third parties.

• Support the QMR in preparing quality-related presentations and updates for the project team and company management.

• Conduct on-site quality inspections for activities involving clients, REs, RTOs, and subcontractors.

• Conduct on-site surveillance to monitor the quality of work and ensure compliance with project specifications.

• Assist the QMR in planning, organizing, and conducting internal surveillance and follow-up audits to ensure continuous compliance.

• Receive, check, and coordinate with the Engineer on all materials and QAQC documentation, including testing certificates and expiry dates. Verify material deliveries and ensure the quality and quantity of materials, reporting any discrepancies or deviations.

• Carry out or arrange internal quality audits, including audits of suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants, as necessary.

• Liaise with BCA and the Production Team on quality-related matters.

• Prepare monthly project reports for clients and internal stakeholders covering quality metrics and performance.

• Carry out any additional safety-related duties as assigned.

  Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 4 years of QAQC experience in construction or civil engineering projects.

• Experience in condominium projects will be an added advantage.

• Knowledge of concrete technology, quality assurance, quality control and quality mark procedures.

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  Candidates with extensive experience and a proven track record will be considered for a Senior position.
