Responsibilities
. Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensure that all subcontractors PQPs are fully aligned with and compliant to the Company's PQP requirements.
. Oversee and monitor subcontractors Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring all requirements are fully implemented and adhered to throughout project execution.
. Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
. Review and approve quality control documentation, including method statements, inspection checklists, and test reports.
. Coordinate with site engineers and construction teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
. Monitor and report on the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
. Ensure that all materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
. Prepare and maintain quality records and documentation for project handover.
. Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities on quality-related matters.
. Conduct training sessions for site personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
. Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality-related issues.
. Monitor corrective actions and process improvement.
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
. At least 3-5years of experience in quality assurance and quality control in the construction industry.
. Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
. Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software
. Good with numbers
. Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and regulations.
. Proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
