Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

. Implement QA plan, review, and revision for company level.

. Report on quality related matters to the QA/QC Manager and/orimmediate superior, including preparation of monthly summary Tocreate, prepare and implement the QA/QC plan and any associatedand relevant directives and instructions needed to support Todevelop and manage the quality control and quality assuranceprocedures and ensure compliance.

. To prepare Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Inspection ReportsMaintain the ISO and related certifications for company level.

. To perform needed tests on site to ensure works are doneaccording to the contract specifications. Preparation of documentsubmissions for client approval.

. Attend meetings and liaise with the client to ensure that qualityrequirements are being followed at all times.

. Maintain document record master list pertaining to equipmentand monitor on the calibration status. Coordinate and makearrangements for equipment calibration when due.

. Compile and receive relevant material certificates and otherrequired certificates and test report from vendors/suppliers.Coordinate with relevant testing laboratories for testing andwitnessing.

. Compile and maintain quality records e.g. Request for Inspection(RFI) and verify as necessary. Coordinate on-site quality assuranceand control activities.

. To conduct independent Quality Assurance check on and off site.

. Report non-conformities to the QA/QC Manager and/or ProjectManager, perform analysis, identify root cause and proposecorrective actions.

. Maintain and control QA/QC practices on daily basis with regularchecks and inspections ensuring correct operation andimplementation of procedures.

. Advise and assist the project team members on QA/QC matters.Assist in the development of internal QA/QC checklists.

. Implement and enforce Quality Control Plan.

. Verification and checks on raw/incoming materials and/or FG.Documents for non-conforming works and corrective action.

. Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from workplace orwork processes, minimize environmental impact associated withthe manufacturing / assembly activities.

. Perform other duties as and when assigned/instructed byimmediate superior or higher management.

Job Requirements:

. Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical orMarine Engineering Discipline Minimum 1-2 years of experience inMarine, Oil & Gas Industry

. Welding Certificate

. Good understanding of Marine/Offshore industry practices andstandards.

. Know-how in one or more of these areas GD&T, NDT, welding,steel fabrication, material casting, and machining technology willbe preferred.

. Familiar with ISO 9001 requirements & different marineclassification societies standards and requirements will be anadded good knowledge of QMS and ability to implement, conductchecks and audit and upkeeping of documents etc.

. Project Management Skills

. A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills,attention to details, meticulous and independent. Goodorganizational, multitasking, prioritization, and effective timemanagement skills.

. Ability to think critically and resolve problems/issues. Positiveattitude, proactive and self-initiated.

. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
