Purchasing Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Source and identify suppliers for direct/indirect materials/services to expand supplier base and for new project/production needs
• Obtain quotes from newly source suppliers to provide costing and cost reduction
• Lead in conducting periodic price negotiation with suppliers to ensure competency in cost for materials/service
• Develop and negotiate favorably supply agreement with suppliers
• Work with Engineering/Unit Sales to analysis Sales Contract's scope of supply and provided Sales Contract BOM Cost to Management
• Support in providing Project Costing
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineer/HVAC in or equivalent
• Proficiency in both written and spoken in English and Mandarin as to liaise with relevant Mandarin speaking counterparts
• Excellent organization problem solving and negotiation skills.
