Job Description:
- Plan, schedule, and expedite parts required for mass production to ensure uninterrupted supply and on-time delivery.
- Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Order and manage prototype and pre-production parts for engineering development activities.
- Monitor stock levels and help reduce material shortages or delays.
- Negotiate and liaise with suppliers on pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Support part changes (e.g., engineering updates) by coordinating with internal teams.
- Coordinate and manage End-of-Life (EOL) parts with proper planning.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory status, delivery performance, and procurement metrics.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, preferably in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic & Mechanical).
- At least 2 years of working experience in a fast-paced MNC Manufacturing environment.
- Experience in global suppliers and overseas parts management will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially in MS. Excel and data analysis.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Understanding MRP / experience in using Oracle will be an added advantage.
- Willing to perform overtime, handle stress, able to work with frequent changes in various schedules.
