PURCHASER

Job Description & Requirements

. Able to plan, schedule and forecast procurement activities

. Purchase general and specialized equipment and materials for projects

. Review plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure the correct equipment, material and subcontractor services are ordered and/or purchased

. Consult with suppliers and review quotations

. Determine or negotiate contract terms and conditions, award supplier contracts or recommend contract awards

. Work closely with site personnel

. Ensure lorry drivers have meet the timelines given.

. Address and resolve issues related to transportation and logistics system.

. Generate Purchase Orders promptly.

. Maintain good relationship and follow-up with suppliers closely.

. Provide administrative support to the office.
