We are seeking suitable candidates for the position of Purchaser cum Store Assistant (Project Basis) in our manufacturing company. Please find the details below:
Key Notes:
- We are open to both Singaporean/PR candidates.
- Candidates with purchasing experience are acceptable, provided they have knowledge of engineering and electrical parts.
- We would like to emphasize that our industry (manufacturing) is based on project basis workload. This is not a contract role, but workload depends on project activities.
- When there are active projects the Purchaser will need to source, purchase, inspect, and manage suppliers as per project requirements.
- When there are no active projects the role will focus on inventory management, stock-taking, and other support duties.
Job Scope:
- Handle purchasing of engineering and electrical parts required for company projects.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, lead times, and deliveries.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, update stock records, and ensure proper storage.
- Ensure accuracy in documentation (PO, DO, invoices, stock records).
Requirements:
- Knowledge of engineering / electrical parts preferred.
- Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or store management.
- Able to work independently, detail-oriented, and organized.
