Key Responsibilities

• Source and purchase construction equipment, spare parts, and supplies in line with operational requirements.
• Request and assess supplier quotations to ensure optimal balance of cost, delivery time, and product quality.
• Engage in vendor negotiations covering pricing, delivery timelines, payment terms, and contract conditions.
• Generate and dispatch purchase orders, track shipments to confirm timely arrival of goods.
• Keep detailed and up-to-date procurement documentation, including vendor profiles, cost data, and delivery benchmarks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast and meet material demands efficiently.
• Supervise stock levels to avoid shortages or excessive inventory.
• Review supplier performance and initiate corrective actions or enhancements when necessary.
• Monitor industry developments, product innovations, and alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Address and resolve issues related to late deliveries, quality discrepancies, or supplier non-compliance.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in purchasing or procurement, ideally within equipment rental, maintenance, or industrial sectors.
• Good knowledge of sourcing procedures for machinery, spare components, and technical materials.
• Proven skills in negotiation, supplier relations, and data analysis.
• Competent in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and procurement or P2P software platforms.
• Effective communicator with strong coordination and problem-solving capabilities.
