Job Description
Perform clinical supervision and team management
. Assist principal/senior psychologist to provide clinical supervision for associate psychologists
. Assist principal/senior psychologist to mentor, develop and train associate psychologists
. Provide clinical supervision for psychology students
. Plan induction and clinical orientation for new team members
Continuing education and training
. Assist principal/senior psychologist to plan continuing education programmes for associate psychologists
. Coordinate clinical attachment programmes for psychology students
. Deliver training or in-service to colleagues
Conduct psychological assessment and deliver interventions
. Conduct psychological assessments to formulate evidence-based and data-driven hypotheses for routine cases
. Formulate evidence-based and data-driven intervention plans in collaboration with relevant parties for routine cases
. Deliver interventions for routine cases
. Manage routine cases
. Provide psychological expertise for routine cases during interdisciplinary team discussions and case conferences
. Prepare assessment reports for routine cases
Perform clinical administration and operations
. Participate in the development of clinical practice guidelines
. Participate in the recruitment process of associate psychologists
. Provide inputs on budgeting
Provide client education
. Empower clients and caregivers with methods to enhance psychological health
. Guide clients and caregivers in managing psychodynamic issues
. Communicate the intervention plans, client statuses and discharge criteria to clients and relevant stakeholders
Job Requirement
. Possess a Master Degree in Psychology, preferably with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
. A Registered Psychologist with Singapore Psychological Society
. A passion to work with persons with autism or a keen interest to serve in the disability sector
. Team player who is able to effectively communicate with staff of all levels
