Job Description

Metta Home for the Disabled provides 24-hour residential care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including individuals with complex behavioural and mental health needs. We are seeking a Psychologist to provide psychological assessment, behavioural intervention and therapeutic support to enhance residents safety, emotional well-being and quality of life.

The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based behavioural and therapeutic interventions in a residential care setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological and behavioural assessments, including cognitive, emotional and risk evaluations

  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and behavioural intervention plans

  • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) in daily living settings

  • Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions

  • Monitor, analyse and review behavioural data and treatment outcomes

  • Participate in Individual Care Planning (ICP) and multidisciplinary meetings

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports

  • Contribute to behavioural frameworks and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Educational or related field)

  • Registered with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS)

  • Experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities

  • Experience in behavioural interventions, FBA or PBS

  • Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
