Metta Home for the Disabled provides 24-hour residential care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including individuals with complex behavioural and mental health needs. We are seeking a Psychologist to provide psychological assessment, behavioural intervention and therapeutic support to enhance residents safety, emotional well-being and quality of life.
The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based behavioural and therapeutic interventions in a residential care setting.
Conduct psychological and behavioural assessments, including cognitive, emotional and risk evaluations
Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and behavioural intervention plans
Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) in daily living settings
Provide individual and group therapeutic interventions
Monitor, analyse and review behavioural data and treatment outcomes
Participate in Individual Care Planning (ICP) and multidisciplinary meetings
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
Contribute to behavioural frameworks and quality improvement initiatives
Master's Degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, Educational or related field)
Registered with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS)
Experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities
Experience in behavioural interventions, FBA or PBS
Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
