Job Description

Job Purpose

To ensure the effective management and maintenance of property facilities, systems, and services, while delivering high standards of operational efficiency, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. The role also encompasses tenancy management, including monitoring compliance, addressing infringements, and supporting tenant-related matters to maintain a harmonious and well-managed property environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Supervision

Oversee workers handling maintenance tasks, service facilities, and conservancy work

Permit-to-Work Management

Administer and monitor the day-to-day permit-to-work system to ensure compliance and safety.

Emergency & Technical Support

Manage emergency repairs, breakdowns, and troubleshooting. Act as an authorised person and provide technical support when required.

Stakeholder Coordination

Serve as the coordination point between the Main Contractor and SDC for operational matters.

Customer Service

Handle customer service issues professionally, ensuring timely resolution for tenants and the public.

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

Plan, coordinate, and monitor all preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.

Complaint Handling

Attend to tenant complaints and feedback promptly.

Tenancy Compliance

Investigate and report tenancy infringements by tenants.

Surveys & Reporting

Assist in surveys and reporting as required by the client.

.Any other ad hoc duties required from time to time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

Minimum Diploma in Building or Facilities Management disciplines from a recognised tertiary institution (M&E background preferred).

Experience At least three (3) years of relevant working experience in property or facilities management.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of building systems, maintenance processes, and safety regulations.

Ability to manage emergency repairs and troubleshooting effectively.

Soft Skills

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and resolve issues promptly.

Detail-oriented with good organisational and problem-solving skills.
