The SPF plays a critical role in keeping Singapore safe and secure with our mission to prevent, deter and detect crime. As a project officer in the Commercial Affairs Department, you will be instrumental in conceptualising and implementing changes to address operational gaps, and to elevate our capabilities in commercial crime investigations.
You will be placed under the Management Executive Scheme
What You Will Be Working On
- Review investigation operations, systems, processes, and policies
- Provide investigative and/or operational guidance on commercial crime investigation matters
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual to be part of the Financial Crime Operations and Policy team. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills to appreciate the complexities of the commercial crime investigation processes and develop practical solutions for existing and emerging challenges. The candidate should be comfortable liaising with various stakeholders, work effectively in a structured environment, and communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.
Requirements
- Field of studies in Accountancy, Law, Business, or Economics;
- Good knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and policies relating to commercial and financial crimes;
- Proactive, meticulous and independent worker, who is self-driven and able to carry out work responsibilities with minimal supervision;
- Good team player who works well with others;
- Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills, with good writing ability;
- Possess good time management skills and be able to meet deadlines and deliver the desired outcome;
- Possess good planning and organisation skills, effective resource and project management ability
