Job Summary
Lead construction site activities for large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring timely progress, resource allocation, safety compliance, and effective coordination with stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor project progress to identify potential delays and implement mitigation strategies such as work re-sequencing to maintain schedule
- Allocate and manage manpower and equipment resources to ensure timely completion of construction tasks
- Lead and supervise the construction team to execute all site activities efficiently and safely
- Review and assess method statements and risk assessments to ensure safe and compliant construction practices
- Coordinate with subcontractors and interfacing trades to align work schedules and resolve conflicts
- Collaborate with the Site Safety Team to enforce workplace safety regulations and standards
- Evaluate subcontractors construction plans and programs, providing constructive feedback for improvement
- Prepare and present weekly reports on site progress and planning to Clients and Consultants
- Liaise with Clients, Consultants, and other contractors to address and resolve site-related issues promptly
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural Engineering, or equivalent
- 5-10 years of site experience leading large construction projects valued over $10M or of similar scale and complexity
- Experience with Authority process: PUB/LTA
- Familiarity with Singapore Codes and Practices
- Local experience with traffic diversion, services diversion, and drain diversions
