Job Summary
You will lead project management and scrum practices to deliver cybersecurity software solutions for the maritime sector. Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned with maritime security objectives.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies to achieve delivery milestones on time and within budget
- Engage and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and facilitate timely decision-making throughout the project lifecycle, escalating blockers proactively
- Facilitate scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrum, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective, ensuring they are outcome-driven and time-boxed
- Collaborate with product owners to develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria aligned to maritime security objectives and regulations
- Drive scrum practices for end-to-end delivery by creating and refining story backlogs, managing scrum boards, planning sprints, tracking sprint progress, managing spillovers, and ensuring accurate and timely ticket updates using Agile tools
- Establish and maintain clear team working agreements covering cadence, estimation approaches, refinement standards, and branching/release alignment where applicable
- Monitor project delivery health and lead actionable improvements through retrospectives
- Provide transparent and regular updates to stakeholders on status, risks, dependencies, and decisions required, managing change to minimize disruption to the team
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven experience of at least 5 years as a project manager or scrum master in software development projects
- Strong project management and scrum facilitation skills demonstrated through hands-on execution
- Proficiency in using Agile tools for scrum execution and backlog management
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and multiple teams to deliver software projects
- Relevant project management and/or scrum certification
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficient command of English
