Roles and Responsibilities
- Reports to Director.
- Plan and oversee: Develop site organization and resources, map out the Master Programme, and set project targets in line with main contractor's milestone.
- Manage the team: Lead the project team and sub-contractors, ensuring project delivery according to the approved completion date and phases.
- Ensure quality: Meet client expectations and regulatory compliances, approving work schedules and liaising with architects and consultants.
- Control costs: Monitor the preliminary cost budget, implement control measures, and manage direct labour costs effectively.
- Technical oversight: Understand drawings, specifications, and contract scopes to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
- Provide technical support to other HODs.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Civil, Structural, Building, or Construction Management.
- Experience with Aluminium, Cladding or Roofing preferred.
- Can demonstrate good leadership qualities and people management capabilities.
- Good understanding of procurement, engineering and construction activities.
- Good written and interpersonal skills.
- Good presentation skills to stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, ACMV, M&E coordination, and EHS requirements.
- Familiar with Singapore authority and compliance requirements (i.e. BCA, SCDF, URA, NEA etc.) and the CSC/TOP process.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage site coordination, contractors, and construction schedules effectively.
- Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to multitask and work under pressure and tight schedule.
