Key Responsibilities:
1.Project Leadership & Team Management: Oversee and lead a team of Project Engineers and Project Administrators to ensure the successful execution of Data Centre projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and project goals are consistently met.
2.Project Planning & Review: Review project plans, specifications, and design documents to identify potential construction challenges, cost-saving opportunities, and scheduling optimizations to mitigate risks and enhance project outcomes.
3.Client & Stakeholder Communication: Regularly attend project meetings with clients, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders to provide updates on project timelines, budgets, and any potential issues that could affect delivery. Ensure clear, transparent communication across all parties involved.
4.Tender Process Management: Lead the team in responding to tender requests for potential Data Centre projects, ensuring the submission of accurate, competitive, and compliant bids.
5.Strategic Business Planning: Collaborate closely with company Directors to align project delivery with future business plans and long-term strategic goals, providing input into company direction and growth opportunities.
6.Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control measures, promoting best practices throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
.Experience: At least 10 years of Project Management experience, specifically within the Data Centre sector.
.Leadership: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, with strong interpersonal skills to motivate and guide team members.
.Project Management Skills: Strong background in planning, budgeting, and executing complex projects, with a focus on risk management and problem-solving.
.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
.Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Data Centre operations, construction, and infrastructure, including power, cooling, and IT systems.
