Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to plan and take ownership of the successful

delivery of our data analytics projects, driving the adoption of Scrum process and agile practices across

project teams. The ideal candidate should possess either a Certified IT Project Management (CITPM) or

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent

organizational, agile-coaching and leadership skills, capable of managing complex data analytics projects and

delivering high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

. Plan, execute, monitor and control data analytics projects end-to-end, managing scope, schedule,

resources and stakeholder expectations to deliver successful outcomes on time, within scope and within

budget.

. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives) and

coach data analytics squads on Agile/Scrum practices to improve team maturity and delivery velocity.

. Drive adoption of agile ways of working across cross-functional data teams to enable rapid response to

changing business analytics requirements and priorities.

. Engage business stakeholders to gather, document and validate data analytics requirements, translating

business problems into actionable analytics project scope and deliverables.

. Map business requirements from stakeholders to data analytics solution design, identifying gaps

between current processes and target data-driven solutions.

. Manage relationships with internal business stakeholders and external vendors to align expectations,

communicate project progress and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.

. Identify, assess and mitigate risks related to data quality, project timelines, data privacy/compliance and

delivery of analytics solutions.. Plan and execute change management activities to support adoption of new analytics tools, dashboards

and data-driven decision-making processes across business units, ensuring smooth transitions and

minimal disruption to business operations.

. Prepare and monitor project/programme budgets for data analytics initiatives, tracking the cost of cloud

infrastructure, tools licensing and vendor resources against approved forecasts.

. Establish and track KPIs and performance dashboards for data analytics projects and team deliverables

to ensure alignment with organisational business objectives.

. Oversee and guide the application of statistical and analytical techniques by the data team to generate

actionable business insights supporting project objectives.

. Review and guide the design of dashboards and visual reports to ensure insights are clearly and

effectively communicated to stakeholders.

. Apply design thinking approaches to facilitate ideation workshops with business users to define user-

centric analytics solutions.

. Collaborate with technical teams to review and provide input on data solution architecture, ensuring

analytics solutions meet business and scalability requirements.

. Identify inefficiencies in data project workflows and implement process improvements to enhance

delivery speed and data quality.

. Manage and develop project team members performance, including goal setting, coaching and

performance reviews for data analysts and Scrum team members.

. Translate organisational data strategy into actionable project plans and ensure execution aligns with the

company's overall digital/analytics strategy.

Qualifications

. Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business

Administration, or a related field.

. Certifications: Certified IT Project Management (CITPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)

certification is preferred. An Agile/Scrum certification (e.g. CSM, PSM) is an advantage.

. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in data

analytics or related fields, including experience facilitating Agile/Scrum teams.

. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)

and hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and coaching agile teams.

. Proficiency in project and collaboration management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps).

. Working knowledge of data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Python, Power BI) sufficient to

guide and review the work of the data team.

. Familiarity with business analysis and design facilitation tools (e.g. MS Visio, Miro).

. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills, with experience managing stakeholders

and vendors.

. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.

. Experience with risk management, budgeting/cost tracking (e.g., MS Excel) and quality assurance

processes.

Preferred Qualifications

. Knowledge of data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI).

. Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations.

. Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and solution architecture

concepts.
