Project Manager (Japanese Speaking, Banking / Financial Services Technology Transformation)

Brief Summary:

Join a dynamic team as a Business Operations & Technology Transformation Consultant, where you will drive large-scale change initiatives and enhance operational efficiencies through innovative strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage transformation workstreams within extensive change programs.
• Design and optimize target operating models, business processes, and governance frameworks.
• Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering, Fit-Gap analysis, and problem resolution.
• Develop key deliverables, including business requirements, process maps, roadmaps, and executive presentations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective program execution.
• Support the testing, operational readiness, change implementation, and stabilization efforts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese speaking client stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Analyze business challenges and provide actionable recommendations.
• Prepare and present materials for governance forums and executive meetings.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, issues, and adjustments in scope.
• Contribute to business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.
• Engage in market research and industry analysis to bolster thought leadership.
• Lead and mentor team members, ensuring the quality of deliverables and project progress.
• Promote knowledge sharing and coach junior resources within the practice.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting environment.
• Strong expertise in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and Fit-Gap assessments.
• Proven ability to facilitate workshops, conduct stakeholder interviews, and drive consensus.
• Experience collaborating with various functions to execute complex transformation initiatives.
• In-depth understanding of business impact assessments and organizational change management.
• Familiarity with PMO and program management, managing multiple workstreams in major transformation projects.
• Proven track record in developing executive presentations and project governance documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other productivity tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in leading teams and ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
• Self-motivated team player eager to engage in business development and internal initiatives.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese is required to liaising with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
