Responsibilities
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and resource needs.
- Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules and work breakdown structures.
- Lead vendor selection and procurement activities (RFP/RFQ), including evaluation and contract oversight.
- Coordinate technical implementation with infrastructure, security, database and operations teams.
- Track progress, surface risks and issues early, and drive remediation plans.
- Manage third-party vendors: assign work, monitor deliverables and enforce SLAs.
- Prepare and present status reports and recommendations to project governance bodies.
- Ensure projects follow established PM frameworks, controls and documentation standards.
- Oversee cutover and transition activities to operations, including knowledge transfer and runbooks.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and manage expectations across business and technical teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-10 years project management experience delivering enterprise IT infrastructure projects (upgrades, refreshes, migrations).
- Proven delivery experience in Servers & Storage, Networking, Security and Disaster Recovery.
- Comfortable managing complex, multi-vendor engagements and working in matrixed organisations.
- Hands-on familiarity with infrastructure operations and implementation lifecycles.
- Experience preparing materials for senior governance / steering committees.
- Practical understanding of procurement and tendering processes (RFP/RFQ).
