Your new company

This role sits within a major infrastructure and engineering organisation with operations in Singapore. The company delivers large-scale transportation and civil engineering projects, working closely with public agencies and industry partners. You'll be part of a project delivery team responsible for overseeing complex rail and infrastructure works.

Your new role

  • You will manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring timelines, budgets, and performance targets are met.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and oversee communication, change management, and project governance.
  • Lead internal teams and external partners, ensuring sufficient resources and capability across all stages.
  • Track project performance, cost, and margins, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinate planning across work streams and promote best practices in delivery.
  • Conduct incident or accident investigations when required and implement measures to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Provide clear leadership to sustain team engagement and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and competency requirements.
  • Oversee adherence to safety, quality, and technical specifications throughout execution.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Railway Engineering, and an accreditation as a Professional Project Manager is preferred.
  • Around 10 years of engineering experience and 8 years leading design and construction teams on rail or similar infrastructure projects.
  • Strong leadership and the ability to guide project teams effectively.
  • Experience managing large, complex projects with good commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of project processes, safety requirements, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with construction design management, project safety management, and incident investigation.
