Job Description

Ang Mo Kio Town Council (AMKTC) is 1 of the biggest Town Council in Singapore and manages/improves the public residential and commercial properties in 7 divisions namely Teck Ghee, Cheng San, Ang Mo Kio-Hougang, Seletar-Serangoon, Buangkok-Fernvale South, Kebun Baru SMC and Yio Chu Kang SMC. We have an immediate opening in a Project Manager in Ang Mo Kio Town Council.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Coordinate the conceptualisation, planning and development of all assigned projects in HDB estates. The projects include upgrading works, improvement projects and cyclical projects.

  2. Prepare cost estimates of the projects.

  3. Oversee, manage and supervise all assigned projects from preliminary stage till completion, including ensuring the consultants obtain CSC (Certificate of Statutory Completion) where applicable.

  4. Certify progress payments and Variation Orders pertaining to the on-going projects.

  5. Liaise with the consultants, government agencies and all stakeholders pertaining to the projects.

  6. Prepare monthly reports to the management on the progress updates on the on-going projects.

  7. Conduct monthly project meetings with management, consultants and contractors to monitor the project timelines and ensure the projects are carried out within the budget and meeting all KPIs.

  8. Conduct regular site inspections at the projects and solve issues at the site.

  9. Any other projects/tasks assigned by senior management.

  10. Undertake any other duties relevant to the role as assigned by the management.

What we need from you and the required skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management. Experience in handling projects in a Town Council will be an advantage.

  • Degree or diploma related to construction, project management or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in MS office.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Well versed with local regulations such as BCA, URA, WSH etc.
