DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver data science or AI projects, including scoping, planning, execution, risk management, and closure.
- Translating complex business problems into well-defined analytical questions and project plans with clear scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, define deliverables, and align priorities.
- Prioritize tasks and deliverables based on business impact, resource availability, and technical feasibility, while developing and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones clearly to all stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation, stakeholder sign-offs, and smooth handover to business-as-usual teams.
- Present results in a business-friendly format and gather feedback.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a project manager specifically for data science or AI/ML projects or products.
- Proven experience managing the data science project lifecycle from ideation to production.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) adapted for data science.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with an ability to manage expectations and build consensus.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Highly proactive, takes strong ownership, and can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Nice to have: Data science or AI experience, qualification or certification.
