Job Description
We are looking for a Project Management Officer to support project financial management, resource planning, contract management, and reporting.
This role supports financial control, project management, resource planning, and management reporting. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure project financial and workforce information is accurate, timely, and well managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and report project budgets, actual costs, forecasts, and variances.
- Support monthly financial closing, including accruals, reconciliations and reporting.
- Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting.
- Prepare and analyse Budget vs Actual reports and highlight overspending risks.
- Extract and review timesheet and project cost reports.
- Support resource planning, hiring, headcount tracking and workforce reporting.
- Assist with contract management, purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Follow up on outstanding contracts, approvals and renewals.
- Ensure project costs and contracts are charged to the correct project codes, cost centres, GL and FA codes.
- Maintain project financial information, documentation and status in relevant systems.
- Support accrual submissions and ensure proper supporting documents are provided.
- Prepare management reports and PowerPoint presentations.
- Work with Finance, HR, Technology teams, project managers and vendors to resolve issues.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and administrative support as required.
Excel & PowerPoint Skills
Candidates should be comfortable using:

- Data cleaning and validation
- PowerPoint presentation slides
Requirements
- Candidates with good Accounting/Finance knowledge and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related disciplines.
- Good understanding of accounting and financial principles.
- Good knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and accruals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Mandarin/Chinese-speaking candidates are preferred to liaise with Chinese-speaking counterparts.
- Relevant experience in banking, finance, or technology is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates and junior candidates are welcome to apply.
