About Us

The Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) Office at National University Hospital plays a pivotal role in spearheading digital healthcare transformation initiatives. Our team is at the forefront of implementing innovative healthcare technology solutions to enhance patient care delivery and operational efficiency. As an intern, you'll be involved in projects that enhance healthcare delivery and operational efficiency while gaining valuable exposure to healthcare technology and management.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic intern to join our team in driving digital healthcare transformation projects. This role offers hands-on experience in healthcare technology implementation, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Transformation Projects

Support the Great Epic Transformation initiative for Allied Health Professionals

Assist in change management and training coordination

Coordinate the Epic Canto iPad deployment programme

Develop documentation and user guides

Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement

Coordinate cross-departmental initiatives

Support requirement gathering sessions

Track project milestones and deliverables

Prepare project communications and updates

Healthcare Technology Implementation

Support medical device integration projects

Conduct user acceptance testing

Coordinate system audits and compliance checks

Contribute to process improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

Current undergraduate or diploma students in Business, Communications, Social Sciences, Humanities, or Design

Strong interest in healthcare technology and digital transformation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Basic project management skills

Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
