Job Summary
Assist engineering projects with autonomy, ensuring safety compliance, quality control, and timely delivery while coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining effective client and consultant communications.
Responsibilities
- Lead project management activities with minimal supervision to ensure successful delivery of cleanroom and HVAC engineering projects
- Represent the company in external project kick-off meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to align project objectives and technical requirements
- Implement and enforce safe work procedures (SWP) and risk control measures to maintain a safe working environment on site
- Proactively identify and resolve site problems promptly to minimize project delays and disruptions
- Prepare and submit timely project progress reports and documentation to stakeholders
- Manage quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes by recording defects and ensuring proper documentation and follow-up actions
- Coordinate daily work activities of site workers to ensure tasks are performed correctly and efficiently
- Conduct daily inspections of work progress, housekeeping, and safety compliance in collaboration with safety personnel
- Support cost control efforts by minimizing material wastage and optimizing the use of tools and equipment
- Initiate and manage material orders required for project execution to maintain workflow continuity
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including email communications and records of project progress and damages
- Perform additional related duties as assigned to support project and company objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with relevant working experience
- Proficient in MS Office and MS Project for project scheduling and reporting
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player
